UK Tour
Dear Bill
I just wanted to personally thank you for your excellent work in organizing our trip. It was an amazing success with all the students commenting on the professionalism of your organization!
I concur as it was a superb effort. We have lots of great memories and we certainly learnt a lot which was in part the reason for the tour. I will be more than willing to write you a letter that you could use to advertise your tours to others.
We are sifting though all the photo's and video at the moment. I would like to get a web-site up with a story of the tour this would easily be accessed by anybody interested.
I also mentioned you to many of the teachers on the recent I.B. conference in Bruxelles and there seemed to be a good deal of interest. Our Headmaster emailed while I was in Paris and said that he received many positive comments on the trip by students and parents and he would like to expand the trip next year so that is positive news. I would hope we can make this into a yearly tradition!
Anyway I will work on the photo's and send you some scan etc for your records
Yours sincerely
Geoff Marriott

Greece Trip
Dear Mr. Ilkley
I am writing to say what a fantastic time our students at Bangkok Patana School had in Tolo last summer.
It has been more than an educational experience. The chance of working with an actress has helped to put all the drama skills we have been teaching into practice and given them an opportunity to perform in such an amazing place.
Seeing the masked performance on a beach by torchlight, with the backdrop of sea and island was incredible. It was a great introduction to Greek Theatre and how to draw from this for a modern theatre experience.
I know every one of our students still talks about the performance of Peter Hall's The Bacchae in Epidaurus and getting a glimpse of the famous Peter Hall was a treat in itself!
The trip was an amazing success and I'd like to thank you and your staff for an exquisite all round experience. Professionalism, organisation and personal treatment made the experience what it was. Many of our students had never been to Europe and I know that they will not forget what their time with Dramart.
Yours sincerely,
Gill Amos

'Our second trip to Tossa de Mar was as hugely successful as the first. The students created some first-rate work which was largely down to the quality of the tutors that Dramart provided. For example, when we said we wanted to do some mask work, we didn't just get anybody - we got Joff Chafer, founder member of Trestle Theatre Company. The input from Annie Sutton and Mike Szpakowski was no less inspirational, as parents and colleagues discovered when we repeated the performances on our return. It was always our intention to go somewhere else for our next trip in two years time, and we took little persuading in setting up a visit to South Africa - Cape Town here we come! '

Bahrain - Spain Trip
'The St Christopher's students had a magnificent time in Tossa; thank you for all the hard work and excellent organisation from Natasha, Maria and yourself. It was a truly memorable, educational and all-round life enhancing experience for the participants. There will definitely be a Spanish evening in the Autumn! Mucho, mucho gracias!! '

Combined Drama/Art trip to Spain
'Thank you so much for such an enjoyable trip to Tossa de Mar. The trip was hailed by all of our students without exception as the best school trip ever!
As we all know, the organizing of any school trip abroad is horrendous these days with the amount of form filling that is required. The real joy with Dramart was that once we got to Tossa my organization days were over! Kate was an absolutely superb Rep. ensuring our every wish was catered for. I was genuinely impressed with her friendliness and efficiency. Our excursions out to Barcelona and Figueras were a pleasure to be a part of, again with all the organization done for me in advance.
The students were overwhelmed by the evening entertainments, enjoying everything from Dino's to the quite fantastic Flamenco evening and not forgetting our hilarious karaoke night.
Whilst my Drama students had their reservations before their own performance they all walked away delighted with what they had achieved: how often do any of us get the chance to perform in the ruins of a castle on the coast of Spain! Marvellous.
My response to senior management when asked ' Would I do it all again?' was 'Does a one-legged duck swim in circles!'
I would heartily recommend this trip to any teachers of art and drama, I have just given the trip of a lifetime to my sixth formers, which neither they nor I will ever forget.
I'd better go and start planning the next one .....
Julie Lewis, Churston Grammar School
Thank you for a truly memorable course and an outstanding trip all round. Thank you also for your flexibility with regard to the Artists and the single rooms. Sidonie ran a 'tight ship' which meant that every aspect of the course was enjoyed to the full by everybody. I would not hesitate to return with another party and I would commend Dramart wholeheartedly.
Thank you

Dear Bill - from the St Albans High School Cape Town crew, on behalf of a lot of people I know I would like to say thankyou for organizing our trip - we still talk about the trip everyday mostly when we are looking outside at the rain and thinking "god, i wish i was back in Cape Town" . I think everyone agrees that we had the best time of our lives (so far) on that trip and we will never forget what a fantastic time we had. From cooking ourselves on the top of table mountain to freezing ourselves in the sea water, plus our little coach sing songs, getting hyper at Dizzies Jazz Cafe, and getting very nervous cos we were about to make prats of ourselves in front of Cape Towns public. I really enjoyed the workshops and really learnt so much about what it was really like for the people of South Africa in the apartide. It really opened my eyes to what only really stopped 7 years ago, I thought racial prejudice was something that was overcome eons ago. Well enough of the depressing talk. To finish, this is how much we enjoyed the trip, me and my friend Elly Goodship have decided to scrap whatever future plans we previously had, go and live in Cape Town and start a little shop in the V&A mall, that way we get the sunshine, the guys and the ridiculously cheap shopping. Well thanks again
Yours in memory of Cape Town
