CLIMATE In Cape Town the summer months are November to March and at this time the weather is generally dry, sunny but sometimes windy. The temperature can reach 35 C but normal summer days are 28-30 C. In the winter months the rains come and coupled with the winds can be rather chilly. You can also be lucky though with beautiful clear winter days. TOUR DATE OPTIONS We are initially offering and recommending that you travel to Cape Town in Feb, Oct, Nov or Dec, but of course if you would rather travel at other times of the year then please do not hesitate to contact us. In the winter months the flights are cheaper, but the weather is not as good. We are able to provide these courses at any time of the year. WORKSHOP AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The students will be working with professional actor/directors from Cape Town and they will work through the week in a devising process to create a performance piece for final presentation in the Waterfront Amphitheatre. This piece will obviously have a very African theme and the process will allow the students to learn about the history, culture and music of South Africa. It is hoped that the experiences and encounters on the social activities of the course will influence the students' ideas for their creative process. THE WATERFRONT DEVELOPMENT
